\u201cTime Lord headache physics,\u201d replied Tysar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOI! It\u2019s not THAT much of a headache!\u201d argued the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTo Time Lords, maybe,\u201d countered Tysar. The Time Rotor then moved up and down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, the Mooplexian homeworld\u2019s on the other side of the galaxy,\u201d said Wander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA short hop,\u201d replied the Doctor. The TARDIS then made its usual arrival noise and the Time Rotor stopped. \u201cNow, let\u2019s see if I got it right.\u201d She switched the scanner on and it revealed what the outside looked like. There were creatures on stems with open mouths and eyeballs spilling out of their sockets, feet on their heads, and stringy hair. Raz was holding his head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMan, I\u2019m getting a lot of psychic readings here!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe made it!\u201d said the Doctor. \u201cNow, let\u2019s plead our case to them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Doctor, are these REALLY powerful psychics?\u201d asked Tysar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTake it from me, they\u2019re the most powerful in this galaxy, on par with Psychonauts like Raz and the Time Lords. \u2026And, sadly, they take a dim view on Time Lords. They\u2019re sure to lash out if I step outside the TARDIS.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Then maybe you should-.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can\u2019t stay in here. I must make the case in person. \u2026Now come along.\u201d The Doctor opened the doors and the group stepped outside to speak with the Mooplexians. \u201cGreat Mooplexians,\u201d called the Doctor, \u201cI am the Doctor. \u201cTIME LORD!\u201d boomed a voice. All of a sudden, the area around everyone changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHEY! WHAT\u2019S WITH THE PSYCHIC SHOW?!\u201d yelped Raz. The Mooplexians\u2019 heads then lifted away from their stems and turned into neon colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou and your ilk are not welcome here!\u201d boomed one of the Mooplexians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI understand our species\u2019 contempt for one another,\u201d replied the Doctor, \u201cbut Lord Hater-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe sad man is unimportant!\u201d replied the lead Mooplexian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith respect, Great Mooplexians, he is VERY important! He\u2019s gotten ahold of a machine that can clone psychic powers and uses YOUR mental energy as a power source!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe will be dealt with in due course! You, on the other hand-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWander, you and your friends will wait!\u201d boomed another Mooplexian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat are you gonna do?!\u201d yelped Wander, terrified at the Mooplexians\u2019 behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe will represent her species in the trial!\u201d replied the Mooplexian second-in-command. A stone wall then appeared, separating them from the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHEY!\u201d protested Raz. He then fired a psi-blast at the wall, but no dice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other side of the wall, the Doctor was on a podium. \u201cTime Lord, your species stands accused of generating enemies and generally picking on the little folk when we taught Rassilon, Omega, and Tecteun all those centuries ago that such actions made them pathetic!\u201d boomed the head Mooplexian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can assure you, those lessons HAVE been learned!\u201d urged the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot true!\u201d replied another Mooplexian. \u201cThe Last Great Time War and the resulting corrupted Shadow Proclamation is proof that your species would rather die than learn those lessons! Need we name your personal enemies, Time Lord?! You had no one to call friends, just enemies!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot true! For every enemy you name, I shall name all those I call my friends!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cImpossible!\u201d retorted the head Mooplexian. \u201cThe Daleks, the Toymaker, the Cybermen! You had no one!\u201d Images of those enemies appeared. They were images of when the Doctor first met those enemies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen you haven\u2019t probed deep into my mind!\u201d The Doctor conjured images of her first incarnation\u2019s friends. \u201cIan Chesterton! Barbara Wright! My granddaughter, Susan Foreman! Vicki! Steven Taylor! Dodo Chaplet! Polly! Ben Jackson!\u201d The images of her friends overpowered the images of her enemies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026These\u2026these are lies!\u201d protested a Mooplexian. \u201cTime Lords cannot have friends! The Ice Warriors! The Great Intelligence!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t know her mind like I do, Wander,\u201d said Raz. \u201cIt\u2019s full of twists and turns even I can\u2019t navigate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRGH! TECTEUN!\u201d challenged the lead Mooplexian as it and its fellows were straining against the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRGHGF! DAN LEWIS!\u201d countered the Doctor, the strain evident on her mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTHE NOT-THINGS!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRUBY SUNDAY! JOY ALMONDO! BELINDA CHANDRA!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRITA REPULSA! GURAST! DARTH VADER!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWILLIAM DAVIES! AMY ROSE! LURRA RUS!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPOISON IVY! LEX LUTHOR! LOKI! DR. DOOM!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The energy wave washed over the planet Lord Hater and his Watchdogs had conquered. It was pandemonium aboard the Skullship. Commander Peepers saw something on the screen. \u201cSIR!\u201d he warned. \u201cThat energy wave\u2019s affected the mental cloning machine we picked up! Its abnormal energies have set it into overload!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFlabdrassit, give it to me straight, Peepers!\u201d complained Hater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s gonna-!\u201d The machine exploded, sending debris across the room. Lord Hater summoned an electric force field in time, not lowering it until the noise stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Don\u2019t ask me how,\u201d snarled Hater, \u201cbut this has Wander written all over it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFor once, I agree, Sir,\u201d replied Peepers. \u201cWritten in big, red letters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Back on the Mooplexian homeworld, the Mooplexians were catching their breath as the Doctor\u2019s friends were attending to her. \u201cHow is that possible?!\u201d asked Wander. \u201cThe Mooplexians are the most powerful psychics in the galaxy! You shouldn\u2019t be alive, Doc!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have my ways,\u201d panted the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2026you have friends\u2026\u201d panted the lead Mooplexian. \u201c\u2026How? Time Lords cannot make friends! They\u2019re too arrogant for that!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Did\u2026did that thing just talk?\u201d asked Sylvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe had transcended physical form, Sylvia,\u201d replied another Mooplexian. \u201cNever, in all our lives, have we encountered a psychic so powerful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou want powerful psychics,\u201d remarked the Doctor, \u201cyou should be glad you didn\u2019t fight Raz here. But, as you can see, your accusations against my people of us making only enemies instead of friends only hold water on a case-by-case basis. Even Rassilon is learning that lesson. Now, about Lord Hater\u2019s psychic cloning machine-.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur duel has already destroyed it,\u201d said the head Mooplexian. \u201cNow, with all that said\u2026leave. While you, Doctor, proved to be an exception, Time Lords are not welcome on our quiet world. Take Razputin Aquato home and dare not trespass on our home again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026As you wish,\u201d sighed the Doctor. \u201cCome along, everyone.\u201d She gathered everyone into the TARDIS and it took off while the Mooplexians assumed their natural state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, how do we bring Raz back to his time?\u201d asked Tysar. \u201cI don\u2019t think Lord Hater would want us back on that planet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, the TARDIS has other ways,\u201d replied the Doctor as she fiddled with the controls. \u201cLet\u2019s see, chrono-navigation\u2019s calculated and\u2026bingo!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, now what?\u201d asked Raz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow you get sent back,\u201d answered the Doctor. \u201cGood luck, Razputin Aquato!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBye, Doctor! Hey, when you visit the Motherlobe again, give us some warning if you changed your face again, huh?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI make no promises on that,\u201d chuckled the Doctor as she flicked a switch. Raz then faded away, waving goodbye. After a few seconds, the TARDIS landed. \u201cThere we are! For Wander and Sylvia, I\u2019ve set us on Zorbula V!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOoh! Never been there before!\u201d said Wander, giddy with excitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have,\u201d replied Sylvia. \u201cYou\u2019ll enjoy it, Wander! A nice, peaceful little place!\u201d She let Wander jump on her saddle and take the reins, then they left the TARDIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBye, Doc!\u201d called Wander. \u201cSee you later!\u201d The door then shut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Well, that\u2019s a nice turn of events,\u201d sighed the Doctor happily. \u201cNo death and destruction and the Mooplexians learned something. It\u2019s always nice to see higher beings learn something new. Heck, that\u2019s why I left Gallifrey! Us Time Lords never bothered to learn something new! \u2026Granted, I was exiled for a time because of it, but-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, I hate to interrupt,\u201d said Tysar, \u201cbut the TARDIS found a new chronal surge! \u2026Although it seems to be centered around this galaxy early in its history.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet me see.\u201d The Doctor checked the readings and goggled. \u201c\u2026Well, isn\u2019t THAT a surprise! This is before he became Emperor!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
