\u201cThis is incredible!\u201d said Ray. \u201cThe amount of energy needed to send someone through time-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s dangerous,\u201d replied Egon. \u201cDoctor, you said we\u2019re in the future?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c2026,\u201d confirmed the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen how can we be assured that we won\u2019t accidentally bring something from this time back to the 1980\u2019s?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe fact that you\u2019re asking says you know already but just want confirmation. Let\u2019s just say the Time Lords have set a law upon themselves that history cannot be changed in any way, otherwise it would cause damage to all of time and space.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026So no asking for lottery numbers,\u201d grumbled Peter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPeter, that thing\u2019s a scam anyways,\u201d retorted Winston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow, obviously you gentlemen need to go back to your proper time,\u201d said the Doctor, \u201cbut we need to find the last Grouping Victim. They came from 2012, I know that much.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen we gotta find them before Albedo does,\u201d said Ben. The Doctor blinked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho\u2019s Albedo?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s what I wanted to tell you,\u201d explained Dr. Sato. \u201cGalvan Mark II told us that one of its renegades, a former Galvan scientist called Albedo, escaped incarceration and rebuilt something called the Ultimatrix.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUltimatrix?\u201d asked the Doctor. \u201cSounds like a knock-off of the Omnitrix.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Omnitrix is a myth,\u201d scoffed Sty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo it\u2019s not,\u201d said Ben as he showed off his watch. \u201cThis thing is why I was Ghostfreak when the Ghostbusters were shooting at me.\u201d Sty blinked in surprise. \u201cAnd to answer your question, Doctor, it is. Though Albedo had an Omnitrix originally.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUm\u2026AN Omnitrix?\u201d asked the Doctor. \u201cI thought Azmuth only made one and you had the prototype for a while until Azmuth gave you the final product.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe did, but Albedo made another one, not realizing my own DNA would be the default.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, that makes sense. I mean, you ARE the bearer of the Omnitrix.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo what happened to make Albedo become an enemy of yours?\u201d asked Tysar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, after he made his Omnitrix, he became stuck looking like me,\u201d replied Ben. \u201cWe fought, then he turned into an albino version of me and lost his Omnitrix, then he created something called the Ultimatrix that could turn someone into aliens, but also had an evolutionary function, putting the DNA through millions of years of worst-case scenario situations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s just begging for trouble,\u201d said the Doctor. \u201cBesides, if you want to make an evolutionary device, why not put the DNA through millions of years of best-case scenarios?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, I took the Ultimatrix and the transformations just felt wrong,\u201d continued Ben, \u201cso he was still stuck looking like me. After that, he made a device that let him change his DNA at will, but my DNA was still the default. Then he created a stabilizer and added an evolutionary function to that, effectively recreating the Ultimatrix. After a fight, he then was stuck looking like an albino 11-year-old me, then he lost his Ultimatrix and was stuck looking like me forever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo he blames you for his condition?\u201d guessed the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd he\u2019s probably trying to rebuild the Ultimatrix,\u201d replied Ben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRight, well, we\u2019d better take care of him before-.\u201d The alarms interrupted the Doctor\u2019s declaration. \u201cWhat the-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIntruder alert!\u201d realized Dr. Sato. \u201cSomeone just broke into the base!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCan we get footage?!\u201d asked Ben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOne second!\u201d Dr. Sato then pulled up the security footage to see a blue-furred primate with four arms, two legs, three fingers on each hand, three toes on each foot, two pairs of black orbs for eyes with a red tint, and a tail with stripes near the tip. Ben and the Doctor saw the red Omnitrix symbol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat must be Albedo,\u201d guessed the Doctor. \u201cBut why an Arachnachimp?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cProbably needs Spidermonkey\u2019s agility to dodge the soldiers,\u201d replied Ben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Spidermonkey\u2019s a bit on the nose, don\u2019t you think?\u201d snarked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, come on! Spidermonkey fits!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cActivating Arachnachimp Transformation,\u201d said the Omnitrix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat?! WAIT! I DIDN\u2019T SAY TO TURN ME INTO-!\u201d protested Ben. Too late. A green light surrounded him and he became an Arachnachimp. \u201c\u2026Spidermonkey!\u201d grumbled Ben, now Spidermonkey. Unlike Albedo, his eyes and Omnitrix stayed green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, looks like we have the means to counter Albedo,\u201d said Sty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHold on a minute,\u201d said Egon as he checked his PKE meter. \u201cThere\u2019s something hot going on at the island\u2019s northern shores, just on the other side of Godzilla\u2019s cave.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDrat, two problems at once,\u201d muttered the Doctor. \u201cRight, we\u2019ll just need to split up. Sty, you\u2019re with Ben and Dr. Sato. Tysar, you go with me and the Ghostbusters to the north.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat if it\u2019s big?\u201d asked Spidermonkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGodzilla\u2019s not far,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cHe\u2019ll be grumpy, but he\u2019ll help. Besides, you know Albedo better than any of us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right, fine,\u201d muttered Spidermonkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026And there\u2019s one other thing,\u201d said the Doctor. She then whispered in Spidermonkey\u2019s ear. A look of horror flashed across his face as he looked at Sty. Sty guessed why Spidermonkey had that look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026I promise, Doctor,\u201d said Spidermonkey. He then turned to Sty and Dr. Sato. \u201cCome on, you two! Let\u2019s go stop Albedo!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Albedo as Negative Spidermonkey was causing chaos for the soldiers shooting at him. He fired webs from his tail and decked the soldiers with all four of his arms. \u201cHEY! ALBEDO!\u201d came another voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTennyson!\u201d snarled Negative Spidermonkey. He turned to see Spidermonkey in a tree branch. \u201cSo, the unworthy bearer of the Omnitrix challenges me!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI dunno,\u201d replied Spidermonkey, \u201cI\u2019m still doing a better job with this thing than you! How did you escape, anyways?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBelieve me, I had numerous plans of escape. \u2026Though I was forced to resort to plan 27, faking illness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo way would Azmuth fall for that!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFor all his genius,\u201d retorted Negative Spidermonkey, \u201che doesn\u2019t fully study the life-forms he\u2019s catalogued. Taking advantage of his ignorance of pre-adolescent human biology was a simple matter!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen how did you get here?\u201d asked Spidermonkey. \u201cI mean, if you\u2019re supposed to be stuck as a kid-.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI took the parts needed to make an Omnitrix,\u201d replied Negative Spidermonkey. \u201cBut I needed transport off, as I\u2019m sure your feeble mind can guess! I managed to sneak into a Plumber cargo container and hide there for the trip to Earth. Not exactly ideal as I risked making noise when getting food, but it served its purpose. I then found my way from the Plumber base to this island as I heard there was Xilien tech to be scavenged!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026And a Xilien is\u2026?\u201d asked Spidermonkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBe patient. You may see my Xilien partner. \u2026Or maybe not! In any event, the isolation was all I needed to recreate the Ultimatrix! Once I kill you, I\u2019ll take your Omnitrix and cure myself of the disgusting human form!\u201d Negative Spidermonkey then slapped the symbol on his chest and he grew into a six-armed gorilla with pale-purple skin, yellow spider fangs on each side of his mouth, a split in the middle of the lower jaw, and three pairs of red eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026And that\u2019s Ultimate Spidermonkey,\u201d remarked Spidermonkey. \u201cHey, as long as you\u2019re still willing to talk, how about you answer one question.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSpeak!\u201d replied Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow come, when I had the original Ultimatrix, my Ultimate Spidermonkey was just a normal gorilla with retractable spider legs at the waist?!\u201d Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey blinked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026That WOULD explain a flaw in the simulations of the original Ultimatrix,\u201d he muttered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHA! Azmuth was right! The original Ultimatrix was just pathetic workmanship! No wonder it always felt weird every time I went Ultimate!\u201d Spidermonkey\u2019s cackling made Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey snarl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt was still a vast improvement over the original!\u201d he declared. \u201cAs my own is superior to the current Omnitrix!\u201d His lower jaw split and he spat out a giant web. Spidermonkey grabbed Sty and Dr. Sato and leapt into the branches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOne spider against another, then!\u201d declared Sty as she activated her PAK\u2019s legs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWait, you guys have robot legs?!\u201d yelped Spidermonkey. Sty leapt of the branch and landed on Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey\u2019s back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGET OFF!\u201d roared Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey. Sty leapt off and Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey tried to swat her. Spidermonkey took the opportunity to shoot webbing from his tail right at Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey\u2019s face. Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey swung wildly and tried to get the beastly stuff out of his eyes. Spidermonkey and Sty stood their ground as Negative Ultimate Spidermonkey slapped the Ultimatrix Dial on his chest. He then turned into an orange-furred creature with no eyes, three gills on each side of its neck, and long, thick arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd now he\u2019s Wildmutt,\u201d said Spidermonkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019d hardly call a Vulpimancer a mutt,\u201d remarked Sty. Spidermonkey slapped the Omnitrix Dial on his chest and turned into Wildmutt. Negative Wildmutt grinned before he slapped the Ultimatrix Dial. His fur then turned maroon, he grew a long tail with a stinger, dorsal spikes on his back, and sharper claws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo what did you call this form, Tennyson? Ultimate Wildmutt?\u201d asked Negative Ultimate Wildmutt. Wildmutt snarled and growled. \u201c\u2026You\u2019re lucky I could still understand you, at least, as much as I can understand human babble!\u201d Negative Ultimate Wildmutt roared and charged at Wildmutt. The two wrestled and tried to bite one another. Sty tried to sneak around, but Negative Ultimate Wildmutt caught her and slammed her to the ground. \u201cDid you seriously try to sneak up on me, you pathetic Irken?! My senses are heightened and-!\u201d Wildmutt then slammed his fist right into the Ultimatrix Dial and turned Negative Ultimate Wildmutt back into Albedo. Albedo shook his head to clear the dizziness. \u201c\u2026Clearly, I need to reinforce the interface!\u201d he grumbled. He then took off into the forest!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHEY! COME BACK HERE!\u201d shouted Sty. Wildmutt charged after Albedo. \u201cCome on!\u201d Sty grabbed Dr. Sato and followed Ben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cH-How can-?!\u201d stammered Dr. Sato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
