\u201cYeah, it\u2019s been that way since my early years with Kirby,\u201d remarked King Dedede. \u201cAnd hoo BOY! The guys making antacids make quite a tidy profit!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can imagine,\u201d said Billy Cranston. \u201cThat sounds\u2026rough on your stomach.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSire,\u201d said Bandee, \u201cthe results of the race came in. Looks like the race was ended early when we all crashed into the TARDIS.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOf course,\u201d sighed King Dedede. \u201cAll right, Bandee, rip the band-aid off. Say Kirby won.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, that\u2019s the thing,\u201d said Bandee, \u201call four of us were the lowest scoring racers. You were last place, Kirby was 15th, Meta Knight was 14th, and I was 13th-.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWait, Kirby lost too?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah, the winner was Rick. He and those clones of his counted as one racer, according to the judges.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHOW DO THEY FIGURE THAT?!\u201d protested King Dedede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, the hive-mind nature of him and the clones,\u201d said Bandee, \u201cmade it so that they all could plan more effectively. The judges decided to add up all the totals he and his clones each ate and combine them into one grand total.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOkay, I ain\u2019t putting up with this!\u201d snapped King Dedede. \u201cFrom now on, no more cloning to try and win a Gourmet Race! That\u2019s a Royal Decree!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSounds fair,\u201d remarked Kimberly. As the discussion went on, Sty was working on a computer. Billy looked over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s up?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe computers on Meta Knight\u2019s ship,\u201d explained Sty, \u201cdetected an energy signature at the Doctor\u2019s position. I\u2019m cross-referencing it with the computers in my PAK to see if the Irkens encountered this before.\u201d Just then, the computer beeped. \u201cAHA! There IS a match! Let\u2019s see-!\u201d Her face fell. \u201c\u2026By Tak!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat sounds bad,\u201d said Jason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy people more than encountered the energy signature\u2026we fought it once!\u201d explained Sty. \u201cWell, at least a faction!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Doctor and Zoe were a bit surprised. This didn\u2019t look anything like the room they entered on the Gonds\u2019 homeworld when they last took the test. There were Waddle-Dees everywhere and they seemed to be building something. There was scaffolding surrounding the object in a square fashion. The object was roughly 40 to 41 meters tall, at least by the Doctor\u2019s estimates, but it was covered by some cloth. \u201cWell, at least we know why the Krotons weren\u2019t draining the mental energy of those that passed the test anymore,\u201d remarked Zoe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s a lot of welding tools,\u201d observed Sailor Mercury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSomething crystalline Krotons shouldn\u2019t need,\u201d said the Doctor. \u201cWhatever that is, it\u2019s not being grown like the Dynatrope was.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen are we really sure it IS the Krotons?\u201d asked Zoe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo, no we\u2019re not,\u201d confirmed the Doctor. She then approached the scaffolding and climbed up. She stopped on the middle walkway and reached for the cloth. She grabbed a bit of it, then pulled as hard as she could. The cloth slid off the object and reached the floor. The Doctor looked up and gasped! It was a humanoid robot with jet parts attached to it! The red-orange trim on the otherwise white and blue body as well as the evil-looking purple face on the wings was all she needed to know. \u201c\u2026He scavenged Kroton technology!\u201d she whispered. \u201cHe\u2019s alive and he scavenged Kroton technology to get a slave force to rebuild his body!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor?\u201d called Zoe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re all in great danger!\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cWe have to destroy this thing!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAh ah AH!\u201d cackled a nasally voice. \u201cNaughty naughty! You Time Lords should know better than that!\u201d An orb of pulsating light appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Rebuilding your body after it was destroyed?\u201d the Doctor asked the orb. \u201cYou know that they\u2019re techno-organic these days, right?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow you see why I\u2019m not eager to go back!\u201d replied the orb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, do you know this energy being?\u201d asked Sailor Mercury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not an energy being, not really,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201c\u2026It\u2019s the Spark of a Transformer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA Transformer?\u201d asked Sailor Mercury. \u201cYou mean like those toys of robots turning into vehicles that the Americans made out of the Diaclone and Microman lines?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTOYS?!\u201d spluttered the orb. \u201cWE ARE MORE THAN MERE TOYS, GIRL!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd their war was VERY real,\u201d continued the Doctor. \u201c\u2026Thankfully, it\u2019s past events in this time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, my beloved metal world is a techno-organic wasteland, thanks to those Maximals!\u201d snarled the Spark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou mean paradise,\u201d corrected the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo you\u2019re from Cybertron\u2019s Great War?\u201d asked Zoe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIndeed,\u201d replied the Spark. \u201cPermit me to introduce myself. \u2026AIR COMMANDER STARSCREAM OF THE DECEPTICON BATTLEFLEET!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow did you come to control Kroton technology?\u201d asked the Doctor. \u201cThey won\u2019t like that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Krotons were long dead by the time I discovered their technology, Doctor,\u201d explained Starscream. \u201cIt was just enough to figure out the brightest minds, at least among the Waddle-Dees. I have to admit, they can apply the Energon Refining Formula like no one\u2019s business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo you use the Krotons\u2019 learning machines to suss out the brightest Waddle-Dees to build you a new body. But that must take a phenomenal amount of Energon! I mean, look at the size of it! Your original body was only 5 meters! And how do you solve the shifting of limbs, internal mechanics, and armor rearrangement without a Transformation Cog?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho says I don\u2019t have one? BEHOLD!\u201d A mechanical arm carrying a cog-like device then descended from the ceiling and inserted it into the hip. The Waddle-Dees then quickly adjusted everything and closed the opening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cT-Cog integration complete, Master,\u201d reported a Waddle-Dee. \u201cThe cloned T-Cog works well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExcellent!\u201d praised Starscream as his Spark pulsed with pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStarscream, you need to come with me and be returned to your own time!\u201d insisted the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cActually, Doctor, I AM in my own time,\u201d corrected Starscream. \u201cThat chronal surge brought me back from Earth\u2019s prehistoric past and put me back here, where and when I belong.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think I understand why you need to build a body in the first place,\u201d said Sailor Mercury. \u201cWhat happened to the original?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGlad you asked,\u201d replied Starscream. \u201cI always like recounting this thrilling tale. Tell me, what time do YOU come from?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not even the transwarp aperture the Darksyde<\/em> opened could bring victory! I followed the ship and the pursuing Axalon<\/em> and participated in the Beast Wars during Earth\u2019s prehistoric past, but it was all for naught and I was stuck! \u2026At least, until a chronal surge brought me back to this time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat is all a lie!\u201d called a voice with a Hispanic accent! The Doctor, Zoe, and Sailor Mercury turned to see Kirby, Meta Knight, and the rest of the Sailor Senshi in the room!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGet out of here!\u201d protested the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSECURITY!\u201d shrieked Starscream. \u201cDON\u2019T YOU WADDLE-DEES PRACTICE IT?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMy apologies, Doctor,\u201d said Meta Knight, \u201cbut we needed to get inside and help you defeat this Decepticon while he lied!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNot everything he said was a lie,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cGalvatron and Unicron were involved, yes, but here\u2019s the truth; Galvatron was the reconstruction and warping of the original Decepticon leader, Megatron, through Unicron\u2019s efforts. Megatron was tossed out of an airlock by Starscream after being brutally wounded. When he was rebuilt into Galvatron, he returned to Cybertron and shot his treacherous second in command here, turning his body to brittle metal that fell apart.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWHETHER HE\u2019S GALVATRON OR MEGATRON, HE WAS STILL A FOOL!\u201d shrieked Starscream. \u201cTHE AUTOBOTS WOULD HAVE LOST EONS AGO HAD I BEEN THE ONE CALLING THE SHOTS! CYBERTRON WOULD HAVE REMAINED A METAL WORLD!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMaster!\u201d called a Waddle-Dee. \u201cWe have integrated your royal attachments to your body! They will attach themselves when you assume robot mode and detach and follow you when in alt-mode!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cExcellent!\u201d praised Starscream. \u201cBegin Spark Integration!\u201d The body\u2019s Spark Chamber opened and Starscream\u2019s Spark flew into it. The chamber closed, then the optics switched on to shine blood-red! A smirk crossed the face as Starscream examined himself. \u201cA perfect fit!\u201d Shoulder armor then attached itself to his shoulders as a gold crown with red gemstones fitted itself onto his head and a cape was attached to his back. The Doctor then addressed the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNo arguments now,\u201d she said. \u201cWhen I tell you to run\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe run,\u201d confirmed Zoe. \u201cI see that hasn\u2019t changed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cUnfortunately,\u201d sighed the Doctor. Starscream then addressed the Waddle-Dees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThank you all for your dedication and wonderful service. But I am more suited to the exclusive company\u2026of TITANS!\u201d He aimed his new Null Ray at the Waddle-Dees. Sailor Mercury then summoned a harp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMERCURY AQUA RHAPSODY!\u201d she announced. Streams of water then sailed through the air and struck Starscream. Ordinarily, it would have knocked someone over, but for someone of Starscream\u2019s current size\u2026he just blinked as he looked at his now wet foot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026You realize that it would take a long time for water to do any damage to me?\u201d he scoffed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI don\u2019t know, it served as the perfect distraction,\u201d replied Sailor Mercury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDistraction for what?\u201d asked Starscream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMOON TIARA ACTION!\u201d called Sailor Moon\u2019s voice. Starscream looked to see Sailor Moon fling her tiara like a frisbee as it turned into a white energy crescent. The attack struck him in his left optic!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cARGH!\u201d he cried aloud as he covered his optic. He then snarled. \u201cWhy you platinum-furred ape! PREPARE FOR OBLIVION!\u201d He then raised his fist!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRUN!\u201d shouted the Doctor. Everyone dashed for the TARDIS. It took off quickly as the Waddle-Dees ran from the facility. Starscream snarled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRunning away won\u2019t help you, Doctor!\u201d he promised. His cape, shoulder armor, and crown flew off as he transformed and burst out through the facility\u2019s roof, his garb following close behind. He set a course for Mt.
