This is not one of Sonic’s favorite forms. He asked Lux, Gaia, and Umbra to never turn him into this form unless there’s no other alternative. Whenever the three Goddesses turn him into this, he scoffs at everything he once cared about, calling them petty concerns. His only goal is to protect the universe at large from threats like Primacron. This was something the Goddesses were happy to restrict at Sonic’s request as they, like the rest of the universe, prefer the usual Sonic.
