Maria Robotnik

Maria was once a human with Neuro-Immune Deficiency Syndrome, a fatal and incurable disease that makes its victims weak and worsens them over time. She was in constant need of medical attention. The low gravity of the Space Colony ARK helped mitigate the effects, but she couldn’t leave the ARK due to her condition. She made a friend with Shadow the Hedgehog and made him promise to always protect Mobius. That would soon change when the government deemed Shadow a threat to the world and moved to shut the ARK down and arrest everyone. Shadow and Maria headed to the escape pods, but as she was launching Shadow’s, Maria was shot in the back. With her dying breath, she begged Shadow to protect the people. She stayed dead for 50 years until a resurrected Morgaine Le Fay brought her soul back and put it into a body similar to Shadow’s and without her old disease. She had amnesia for a bit and stayed with Eggman until she looked through old files. Those files restored her memories and she switched sides, reuniting with Shadow and marrying him after the Autobots and Decepticons permanently ended hostilities. They had a daughter together and they all live on the Space Colony ARK. Maria’s become its new director and was knighted along with Shadow. Her Chaos powers aren’t as potent as Shadow’s but she will need them to stop the Author.
