Jazz isn’t this mech’s real name, but he and his friends agreed that it was a stupid one that came from his abusive birth parents. They were fanatical Decepticons and grafted red optic lenses onto his face. If anyone tried to remove them, he would go blind. When he was adopted into the Strezar family, he tried all sorts of names ranging from his original name of Munka Spanka to Coolsville to Meister. He was given his visor to hide his optics and would only reveal them to his friends. He met Orion Pax and, over the course of their friendship, Orion saw his dancing and nicknamed him “Jazz”. The young bot liked it and so he became Jazz Strezar. He and Orion were students of Yoketron, the Grandmaster of the Autobot Cyber-Ninja Corps. After Orion Pax became Optimus Prime, Jazz received news that someone was digging up Cybertronian corpses on Earth and so went there behind Optimus’ back. He soon learned that Earth suffered a Xorda attack and both its old human population and its new upright animal population renamed the planet Mobius. When Optimus and his team caught up to Jazz, the two friends stayed on Mobius and helped solve its problems until Megatron and his Decepticons reared their ugly head and started a second war. During the Year of Unicron, Jazz was named Yoketron’s successor and took over as Grandmaster once the second war was over. Right now, he lives in the Autobot Cyber-Ninja dojo in Praxus, located on Cybertron’s Northern Hemisphere. He’s also a DJ at Luggie’s Nightclub. When he has a moment to himself, one can find him breakdancing, singing, or practicing his Cyber-ninjutsu. He’s dating a Triple-changer femme named Sandstorm and he needs to beat the Author in order to marry her.
